Every day The Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association helps all service personnel and their families get the support they need.

Their mission is to 'remember and care for all those impacted by service for New Zealand.'

The RSA was formed in New Zealand in 1916 by returning Anzacs during World War One to provide support and comfort for service men and women and their families.

Today the RSA is made up of 182 local RSAs around the country, each an entity in their own right, with over 102,000 members.

Waihi Memorial RSA is located opposite Mitre 10 in Waihi township, and just over 1km from the Hauraki Rail Trail terminus at the Goldfields Railway Station, an easy bike ride or 2 minute drive by car.

There are great lunch and dinner menu options, including Entrees, Mains and Desserts. Visitors will find Lion, Waikato and a range of Speights Ales on Tap, a good range of wines, Ready to Drink and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from.

Relax and unwind after your Rail Trail adventures in the spacious air conditioned dining area, or there are Pokies, 8ball, Snooker and Bingo onsite for additional entertainment.

Freedom Campers are welcome at the Waihi Memorial RSA for a $10.00 overnight charge.
